The project is planned to last 6 weeks and will take place in two phases. During their practical classes at the Nikola Tesla Airport (5 working days, during which they are free from classes), the students of class II5 will record various experiences of employees at the airport and their perception of the work of the airport services. They are preparing a short documentary film with those records, which they present to class II6, who during that time at school practiced professional terminology, translation, and writing short articles in English. After that, II6 makes a short newsletter „Safety Newsletter“ where they describe the duties of the ground services in Serbian and English. services, tasks and equipment of the ground handling services and all precautions that must be taken at the airport for various tasks. That newsletter is processed and posted on the school’s website, and the documentary record is used in the further education process. The final part of the project is presented in the form of case study analyses, where they give each other various situations with errors and recognize them.

Planirano je da projekat traje 6 nedelja, odvijaće se u dve faze. Učenici odeljenja II5 će tokom svoje praktične nastave na aerodromu Nikola Tesla (5 radnih dana, tokom kojih su oslobođeni nastave) zabeležiti razna iskustva zaposlenih na aerodromu i njihovo viđenje poslova aerodromskih službi. Pripremaju kraći dokumentarni film sa tim zapisima koji prezentuju odeljenju II6 koje je za to vreme u školi vežbalo stručnu terminologiju, prevođenje, pisanje kraćih članaka na Engleskom jeziku, nakon toga II6 pravi kraći bilten “Safety Newsletter” gde na Srpskom i Engleskom opisuju dužnosti službi zemaljskog opsluživanja, poslove i opremu službi zemaljskog opsluživanja i sve mere opreza koje se moraju preduzeti na aerodromu za različite poslove. Taj bilten se obrađuje i postavlja na sajt škole, a dokumentarni zapis se koristi u daljem procesu edukacije. Završnica projekta je predstavljena u formi analiza studija slučaja, gde oni jedni drugima zadaju razne situacije sa greškama i prepoznaju iste.

Nonetheless, Covid -19 changed our plans completely.
Instead of going to Nikola Tesla Airport we had to reorganise ourselves, to reschedule the previous idea, so we managed to persuade our school management to let us visit Vršac airport and its training centre, and hopefully they were full of understanding and they even helped us with travelling expenses.
